ਪਹਿਲੇ ਘਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਹੋਵੇ,
ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਘਰ ਮੈਂ ਮਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ,
ਧੋਖਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ,
ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਭਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ,
ਓਥੇ ਵੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰ ਸੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ,
ਇਥੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੇਵ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ ਵੇ,
ਦੋ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ,
ਇਕ ਸਹੁਰੇ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਪੇਕੇ ਵੇ |
